Christopher Spicer grew up in Reisterstown, Maryland. From the first time he picked up a pencil, his innate love of drawing was immediately apparent. Since then, he has actively maintained his artistic passion, and has continued to develop his skill in a variety of mediums, including charcoal, pastel, watercolor, and acrylic.
Spicer spent many of his younger years learning the ropes at his parents' video production studio in Woodlawn, Maryland. There he was able to discover and explore a variety of new interests, including computer graphics, set design, and even precision stunt driving. With an ample workshop at his disposal, Spicer was constantly inventing new design projects for himself, ranging from specialized go-kart modifications to a custom-built, two-person paddle-boat.
After attending both Virginia Tech and College Park, Spicer graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2006. When not designing parametric computer models or performing back-of-the-envelope structural calculations, he continues to make time for artwork and creative writing.
In 2009, Spicer was able to merge both passions in his illustrated poetry collection and premiere print publication, Forever is Relative.
Always the adventurer in search of new inspirations and mediums, Spicer is driven by his ability to take life's brightest and darkest moments and, from them, create something beautiful. Spicer considers his life a continuous work in progress, and eagerly embraces the throughput of his experiences to expand his creativity and passion and apply it to all that he pursues.
